Freedom of the Seas

The Freedom of the Seas was the first ship in its class and introduced several features to the Royal Caribbean fleet: the H2O Zone interactive water play area for children, the Perfect Storm trio of waterslides including a racer and tube slides, and a FlowRider surf simulator alongside the main pool. The dining lineup goes beyond the standard specialty options, adding Fish & Ships (a casual fish and chips concept), Sabor (a Mexican specialty restaurant), and Sugar Beach (a dessert and candy bar) to the Chops Grille and Giovanni’s offerings. Ice-skating runs in the onboard rink, Broadway-style shows fill the main theater, and the Schooner Bar and Boleros anchor the evening bar scene. The thermal suite in Vitality Spa is one of the more complete wellness facilities among Freedom-class ships.
