The Carnival Celebration is one of Carnival’s most recent Excel-class ships and the programming reflects it. BOLT, the roller coaster that runs along the top deck above the funnel, is an actual outdoor coaster with meaningful speed, not a novelty ride. The Miami Beach Brewing Co doubles as a specialty dining venue and a themed bar, which gives it more utility than a single-purpose concept space. The Ultimate Seacoaster water coaster operates as a water ride rather than a traditional gravity slide, using water jets to push riders uphill before the drops. The Center Stage theater runs Playlist Productions and other live shows, and the thermal suite in Cloud 9 Spa is a worthwhile day-pass investment on longer sailings. The Golden Jubilee bar and Heroes Tribute Bar round out a bar lineup that has more personality than most ships in the fleet.
