Star of the Seas

The Star of the Seas is the second Icon-class ship, launching in 2025, and shares the fundamental design of Icon of the Seas: Category 6 Waterpark with six waterslides, Crown’s Edge obstacle course and plank walk on the top deck, Surfside family neighborhood at the forward section of the ship, Absolute Zero ice arena, and the AquaDome at the bow functioning as both a show venue and a food hall. The dining program mirrors Icon, with more than twenty venues and the majority included in the cruise fare. Any differences between Icon of the Seas and Star of the Seas are incremental refinements rather than structural changes; the class concept and layout are consistent between the two ships. Passengers who have sailed Icon will find Star familiar in format while recognizing the specific updates introduced with the second vessel.
